My sister and I did the 1 day trip to Cairo from where we were staying in Sharm.
This is really is an amazing value for the money, and is a must for those who want to see the major highlights of Egypt, while not having to stay in the city of Cairo.
You are never pressured to purchase anything extra if you do not wish. That being said, you are on vacation and if you can afford it, do some of the extras. Like riding a camel! The photo op you get is worth every penny.
The Your Tour service really is completely door to door as they advertise.

Our tour guide for the day was the fabulous! She was front and center waiting for us after we made our way from the plane.
We had a nice air conditioned van as our transportation for the day.

The guide was full of pep and enthusiasm to share her knowledge and culture with us. When we expressed that we enjoyed eating Arab foods, the tour guide made a special stop so we could try local Egyptian falafel and kushari. They were both amazing.

I highly recommend Your Tour. We spent the entire day laughing and learning from our guide, and really have an amazing culture exchange.

I would definitely use this company again .

We had a one day trip to Caïro. Really everything was taking care of. The driver who brought us to the AirPort as the one who was waiting for us at the AirPort. Everyone was on time. Our guide for The trip has so much knowledge. The museum was so interesting as the pyramides because the tour guide made it very interessting with the information he shared with us. Also while we drived in Caïro he told and showed us information about The city Caïro. We had A very fun day with a lot of laughs and knowledge. If your looking for an professional good planned excursion, book it with Your Tour and you wont regret it!!

I decided to take the private tour to visit Cairo and the pyramids. It was a great decision because I had a private guide and driver and we did not have to wait around during the day for a group and also the guide was able to keep the street hawkers away so the trip was not a hassle. Just FYI is was a bit cooler in Cairo than Sharm so in the winter months I suggest a coat!
The process does seem a little odd but it makes sense in the end. You pay the amount online . There was someone to pick me up in the morning and the guide in Cairo and someone to pick me up at night when I returned. All without a hitch.
In Cairo you have to go out of the airport as the guides are not allowed inside (at least right now) but they will be waiting for you. The guide and the driver they were both great. More on them in a bit. Cairo was unexpected! It is very large and very crowded (over 20 million people) and there are a lot of cars (someone said 3 million but it seemed like more!). And they drive CRAZY! I have been in all the big cities in many countries and have never seen anything like it! If there are 4 lanes of roadway there are 6 lanes of cars!
The tour was as others have mentioned. The guide asked me if there was anything else I wanted to do and I elected to see the step pyramid at Saqqara as well as the three pyramids in Giza.
the guide was a great guide and his English was very good and he was able to get a few extra perks for me at the sites (like taking a photo in a tomb). Truthfully there is not a lot to see inside the pyramids or tombs except to be amazed at how the Egyptians carved them out of solid stone!
My advice is this though…offer your guide a nice tip at the start of the day…maybe $20 or so and ask to spend a bit more time at the museum or the pyramids and I also opted for the camel ride which is kind of required if you go (how can you go to Egypt and not ride a camel?) and the driver was a nice guy and it was cool.
I need to add a note on safety. For some reason it seems that tourism is down on fears of safety. There has been unrest in the past but right now there were no issues at all. With your guide they will not take you to areas you should stay out of. I think I was the only American I ran into all day (actually almost the whole trip) and a British couple said I was a “hero” for coming!? Safety is pretty much an illusion, but really I never had any trouble in Egypt. It is a long trip to get there but well worth it.

Cairo tour from sharm is a must to do with this company and with her knowledgeable guide. we had a lovely private tour, the museum was WOW, the info given and explained by our guide were great. i may say that i learned a lot about the pharaohs and their culture. we really enjoyed the process of making "baradi paper", and the experience of the oil essence factory was also interesting. The pyramids were a blast, every minute was worth it, our guide knew exactly where to take us, to stop to take picture.... Thank you Your Tour for such memorable day.

Have been to cario twice now. First time was via coach which is cheaper however is at least 6+hours each way and when you arrive you don't enjoy it as much.

This time we took the plane and was definitely worth it as you enjoy the pyramid without being so tired.

Our tour guide was amazing. We was so happy to have so helpful and knowledgeable guide.

He kept and made you feel safe so don't be worried about going to cario. I would 100% recommend anyone who wishes to book this to request Your Tour and its guides. You will not be disappointed at all.

Myself and My daughter had always wanted to go to Egypt to see the usual stuff Pyramids, Valley of the King etc. We only stayed in Egypt for 7 days, we could have stayed longer. We decided to book with Your Tour recommended by one of Natalie's friends. So as the saying goes "when in Rome", we took full advantage for the special offer and booked 4 excursions in the 'buy 3 get 1 free' offer. Our first being the Cairo tour from Sharm 1 day by plane.

We were picked up from our hotel at 5.00am in a mini bus and taken to the airport. We had free drinks and biscuits on the plane, there was some cracking views of mountains and desert on our way to Cairo. When we landed, we met out tour guide, he was a very nice smart gentleman and his knowledge of Cairo Museum and Tutankhamen was amazing. Our group really got to know each other during the day and together with the guide we felt like a little family.

We had a ride in a boat down the Nile to a restaurant for lunch. We didn't have to go as this was optional and did cost a little extra but we all agreed it would be a great way to go have lunch, which was a riverside restaurant anyway. Lunch was good, but I was hoping for some authentic Egyptian cooking. We then went to see the Pyramids in Giza, this was fantastic :). We had a choice of a camel ride or a horse drawn buggy to go and take some fantastic photo's of all 9 Pyramids. Natalie and I had always want to ride a camel and although we booked to do the camel ride and star gazing, we opted for the camel, again this cost a little extra, but our camel handler was so good at taking some spectacular photo's we didn't mind and gave him a tip too :). It was a short drive then to see the Sphinx and have a general wander around.

From there it was on to a perfume shop where we were told about perfume oils and which ones were used for any perfume and aftershave you could mention, even up to date perfumes he had an oil that smelt exactly the same. It was a quick stop then to the Papyrus shop where we were told how Papyrus paper was made and it's qualities, then we were given a chance to buy some if we wanted to.

After this we had to go back to the airport to get the plane back to Sharm.

I will never forget this trip, we made some good friends, saw some amazing sites and did nothing but smile the whole day, this is more than a 5* trip.

Love and best wishes to all in Your Tour.

Marie & Natalie

Most people have a visit to the pyramids in their bucket list as something to do within their lifetime. My wife and I are no exception and booked the trip with Your Tour company on the internet before getting to Sharm. We are very pleased we did so. The day was absolutely outstanding and worth every single penny.

We were collected from our hotel and taken to the airport by private car. We were met by a company member who made sure we got onto the plane and that we knew exactly what to do on our arrival in Cairo. At Cairo airport we were met by a bubbly young lady called Lily who had a smile on her face as wide as the Nile. The Egyptologist who held a master’s degree in the subject and her knowledge was faultless. We were shown to a large chauffer driven leather upholstered vehicle which was for our sole use. Wherever we went everyone knew the guide and it was obvious that she was well respected and loved by all. We had a personal tour of the Museum which is that vast you would need days to see it all, every question we put to guide received an immediate and knowledgeable answer. We did the papyrus bit where you are shown how it is made and then they try to sell paintings. We had a private boat for a trip us the Nile and a meal in a restaurant alongside it. After lunch we went to see the pyramids and the sphinx which were absolutely beautiful and awe inspiring. We travelled by cart into the desert to get above and behind the pyramids in order to take scenic photographs. We later went to a Bedouin house to sample the perfumes. We finished the day sat in a restaurant having a drink and watching the pyramids and the sphinx. This is a long day but you could not wish for a better day out or better company. The smile never left the guide face all day and I think she enjoyed the day nearly as much as we did. At the end of the day the guide and my wife had a cuddle before we parted. If anyone is thinking about doing this trip, then do it just with Your Tour.

There were a couple of little worries that I had and think are worth mentioning. The first was having paid through the company website. My other concern was that on arrival in the resort the rep told us all that under no circumstances should we book with agencies other than themselves because they were the only ones who had correct insurance and that the other agencies were not to be trusted. That was an absolute lie and I intend doing a review on the hotel site telling them so. The cost of my trip to Cairo with Your Tour company was less than the cost of the one the rep was recommending, and his trip involved being with a group party all day and not the personal attention we received. Had we wanted a group day and be with ten or twelve other people I could have got that through this company and the cost would have considerably less.

I have got to 65 years of age and this is the first review I have ever done. Because of what I was told by the rep I feel that I need to redress those lies and stop others getting ripped off by the holiday reps.

This trip will be a long lasting memory that will always be with us and I thank the Your Tour company and particularly its guide for making it such a splendid day. I strongly recommend this trip to Cairo to anyone and that you use this company. Do not get ripped off by the holiday reps and ignore their scaremongering. Definitely go for the personal guide option. it might cost a little more but it is well worth it.

A great day and our guide Will was excellent. Well worth the extra for a private tour.

This was one of the best afternoon/evenings of the holiday. We had such a fun time Quad biking through the desert into the sun set. We even stopped off at Echo Mountain on the way to the evening ascertainment! The food and entertainment were really good and a great way to experience the culture. We also had a brief ride on a camel, although in the dark so not brilliant for seeing the surroundings. The evening was finished with a spot of star gazing before Quad biking back. Such a fun time had by all.

We booked Luxor, Cairo the Bedouin night and Snorkelling, the Luxor trip by our guide was amazing. Luxor i so hot though and found it hard to enjoy. The guide knowledge was amazing and made it exciting with the Egyptian history, the day was great but i got heat stroke as was so hot. They picked us up promptly at the hotel, delivered us to the airport and the guide met us the other side and looked after us all day. Very safe and the rep. gave us water too. Loved every second of it.

This was one of our four trips booked with Your Tour ! If I could rate this trip more than 5 stars I would!! Everything was amazing! We were collected promptly from our hotel at 4.35am and left to the airport where it was explained to us step by step where to go and what time we would fly to Luxor. We met our tour guide in Luxor airport and he was fantastic the entire day! There were 9 in our group and he called us "Family" :)! He gave us so much information, and explained everything in a lot of detail, showed us around Luxor and answered any questions with ease. The Valley of the Kings and Karnak Temple were personal highlights for me, so fascinating and the guide is so knowledgeable in Egyptian history! We did the boat trip on the river Nile (£10 extra and totally worth it) which was a great experience and then had a gorgeous lunch with more than enough food! We spent some time in a banana farm and got to eat as many bananas as we wanted, they were delicious. Then we went a perfume shop where they demonstrated and let us sample some perfumes. The guys in the shop were lovely and gave us a complimentary welcome drink. We were left back to the airport and the guide walked us in and ensured we got boarding passes ok. This one day trip gives you a great oversight and flavour for Luxor and the history of ancient Egypt-it is just WOW, something else! Definitely would highly recommend this trip and Your Tour to anyone! so a massive thank you to you it was a fantastic day :)!! Hopefully see you again in the future, love from two of your "family" :)!!

If i could pick a higher number to rate this tour then 5, I WOULD!

Having never been to Egypt before, we immediately wanted to do Cairo, having booked the trip whilst a lot of trouble was going on, i was a little bit skeptical.
We left the hotel around 4:30am which sounds stupidly early but by the time you get to the Airport and get through security, very little time remains.
The airline company EGYPTAIR, are unbelievable, the planes are luxurious with large amounts of leg room, attentive flight attendants and FREE drinks. Perfect start to the day.
Arriving in Cairo, we was greeted by the most amazing person the best person you could wish for on a trip like this, friendly, attentive and very knowledgeable.
Our first stop was to the Muesuem to see the artefacts, you get you're ticket included in the price, however if you want to see more of the mummies, you have to pay extra - i did not, as there is so much to see anyways. The guide was fantastic in here, she had studied the Muesuem for many years and knew everything about it.
Having seen alot of Ancient Egyptian artefacts, the next step is a boat ride down the Nile (ITS AMAZING!!!!) you have 2 options here, pay to go on a boat with other people or pay to go on a private boat with the people from other hotels that you flew down with (in our case it was one family from Kent and they were lovely) we decided on the private boat, its £5 extra each but well worth it.
Travelling down the Nile, The guide told us everything, from old building to four seasons, you spend around 45 minutes down the Nile and then stop off for something to eat.
I do have to thank the guide once again here, she took some photos for us and knew exactly how we was to pose to make it look crazy good.
The restaurant is a very niche place, out of the way and simply fantastic, me and my partner both commented on the food, it was better then any we had eaten since been in the country. The restaurant makes fresh bread and its delicious! The meal is part of the package, however but drinks are not, however saying that you can get a large bottle of water for around 20 EGP.
We left for the Pyramids, along the way the guide told us more and more about Egypt and the history, so much so that when i came home, every game show that asks questions about Egypt, i know the answer to.
Arriving at the Pyramids, it was very full, we had come just after Ramadan and the feast was in full force, so alot of Egyptians was there, do not let this put you off as i doubt it will be like that all year round, and even if it is, you can deal with it.
The ticket for the Pyramids are part of the package, however this only includes to go inside one of them, not all of them, tickets for the others are more however i would not recommend purchasing the other pyramid tickets as its very hot and very cramped inside.
The guide again been the delight she was, told us exactly how they was built etc;
Once you have had a good look around, you get the option to pay to go around the pyramids and take the funny photo's. THIS IS A MUST.
Its either a Camel or Shaded Horse carriage, the camel is cheaper but if you are like me, i was getting too hot so i decided to go for the shaded one. The guy that took us was brilliant, he took some amazing photos for us, the view is excellent and you'll never forget these pictures.
Leaving the Pyramids, i asked if we could go shopping if we had time and bless the guide she did. We went to a few small shops, that sell souvenirs, clothes etc; i just got some small things to remind us of Cairo.
Leaving main Cairo,The guide asked us if we wanted to stop for food and we ended up at Burger King (it still did not beat the niche restaurant)
Once at the aiport, the guide took us in and made sure we checked in safely, something she did not have to do, but been the lovely person she was, i thought it was attentive.

If you go on any trip, with Your Tour, choose this one. We have booked Egypt again for next year and intend to use this company for Luxor.
If you are looking on how you pay these guys, then what i would recommend is that you book online. We book the 3 for 4 offer and whilst we was there, i had some really bad days with my medical condition which force us to rebook different days and even change one excursion altogether, each time Your Tour was more then understanding and helped us out.

I must give the guide another shout out, if our tour guides back in Britain was as good as her then we would not need to go away. I apologise to her for the late review, i had not forgot but have been working. SO THANKYOU!

I GIVE YOU 5 STARS YOUR TOUR  FOR MAKING MY TIME IN EGYPT EVEN MORE AMAZING!

Thanks to Your Tour we had a wonderful private tour to Luxor. Our amazing tour guide showed us three of the most fabulous places from the New Kingdom, where we could also choose what to do, like going to a stoneworkers to see how alabaster was carved and turned into various kinds of crafts and artwork. Louis particularly enjoyed talking with the guide about Egyptian mythology and burial rituals. The guide's knowledge is exceptional, as you would expect from an Eygptologist and Louis certainly enjoyed showing off what he knew! The guide was also very kind and generous with the knowledge she wore so lightly - and helped us strike some good deals with the inevitable traders and other baksheesh hunters who me met.

Like others on this site I had some reservations about booking online and at some distance from Sharm, however he was very trustworthy and immediately genuine when I met him outside our hotel. This website and the people who run it inspire confidence, and there is nothing they won't do to make your trip a memorable success. These trips are better priced than those run by the major holiday chains, such as Thomsons and it would be hard to imagine that they could be better.

Thank you again everyone.

We booked this trip online after seeing previous good reviews. At first, we were very uncomfortable about handing over money without actually meeting the person, however, this was all unnecessary.

On the day of our trip, we were met by a member of Your Tour team who helped us with our bus to Luxor, where we were met by our guide.

The guide is a real nice guy and a very professional guide, he is polite, friendly and really knew his stuff. He explained everything extremely well and in a manner that ensured we understood. He made sure that we were all okay, if we needed anything i.e drinks, food, money etc, he acted upon it immediately. At all times, he was focussed on ensuring we had a fabulous day.

Our day involved visiting the tombs and temples, having lunch in a lovely restaurant, going to an alabaster workshop, having a boat trip across the River Nile to a small tropical fruit plantation, which I must say on such a hot, action packed day, was a pleasure. We had a tour of the plantation tasting the different fruits picked straight from the tree and then we sat down and had tea (their mint tea is lovely!)and enjoyed fresh bananas - they tasted so good!

We were only small party of 4 and can say a great day was had by all.

We recently visited sharm el sheikh for our honeymoon for two weeks, we booked 5 excursions through Your Tour and can honestly say that we were most impressed, we booked 4x4 safari, glass bottom boat, snorkeling trip to Tiran Island,Quad bikes and swimming with dolphins. Every single excursion was fantastic, we were picked up on time for every excursion from our hotel and returned to our hotel afterwards. The Your Tour reps were friendly and explained rules and regulations for each trip thoroughly, we really cannot fault them in anyway and would 100% recommend booking with Your Tour

Went on excursion to Luxor I was a bit worried about handing money over to a complete stranger since this was our first time in Egypt but I had no call to we we're picked up at the exact time arranged we went from Hurghada to luxor by bus (3 hours)and was met by our guide such a nice pleasent girl she has a vast knowledge of her country's history and it's people we went to the valley of the kings first and she explained everything about the Pharohs and their people very interesting the things this girl knew was unbelievable from there we went to queen Hatshepsuts temple which was. Very good but I have to say the girl went out of her way to accommodate every body but like most tours you can't please everybody thers always people who want to be Awkward having said that we left to go to Karnack temple this blew me away the size of it the history of it is fantastic I don't want to say too much about this place as it would spoil it for other visitors but most enjoyable later the guide suggested that we had time to spare before our flight back did we want to go on a boat ride down the Nile we all agreed and off we went down the Nile we stopped at a small Island where the people grew their own bananas and tropical fruit we all got a taste and it was very refreshing after a long hot day it was nice to see how the people worked the Island so thanks to Your Tour for a truly fantastic day

Camel Ride, Bedouin Dinner and Star Gazing in Sharm

Me and my partner booked this trip after reading many good reviews on here. Needless to say we were not disappointed! One of the best trips we've ever been on. We were well looked after the whole time. On talking to other people who came to the Bedouin camp via other companies we seemed to have had the best experience. A few complained of being stopped along the way so that locals could try to sell them things, but we never experienced this. A good ride with a short break at the 'echo mountains' once we arrived to the camp we had our camel ride which lasted about 30mins and was great! The guys at the camp made you tea which was quite nice and bottles of water are also provided. The camp was beautifully chilled as the sun set and then food was provided. This was also better than expected! Pasta, chicken, veg, rice, and fizzy drinks. We were told to help ourselves to seconds if we wanted too! Their was then 3 shows - a dancer, a fire show, and a cobra show. All brilliant! We then made our way to the star gazing area where we all got the chance to see Saturn! Amazing!! We then quashed in the dark (not as scary as it sounds) back to the quad base and then we were taken back to the hotel for around 10pm. This trip was worth every single penny and I would highly reccomened Your Tour to anyone visiting sharm in the future! This company will always be my first choice when I return :)

We chose the sunset trip and it was amazing. It was beautiful to watch the sun come down behind the mountains as we zoomed along. It was really warm so I couldn't think how hot it would be to do during the afternoon - especially when you have to wear a scarf to protect yourself from the sand!

Definitely worth a go.

Cairo Tour from Sharm - 1 Day Excursion by Plane

ABSOLUTLY AMAZING! And our guide was FANTASTIC!

We booked and paid online. We were picked up bright and early at 4:50am from our hotel, and then picked up some other couples from around Sharm, and went to the airport. We got our tickets, and were told where to go when we got to Cairo to meet our guide. We were also told how to get our return flight tickets. All very easy and stress free!

In Cairo we met our guide. She took us to the mini bus and we began our journey to the egyptian museum. She was really friendly and funny - giving us great detail of all the sights we passed on our way. We also stopped off on the way to take pictures of some big mosques.

The egyptian museum is in 'revolution square' and is protected by the armed forces. It's clear the people of Cairo are passionate about their history and traditions, and we felt completely safe here, and during our trip. We weren't allowed to take pictures inside the museum, but you could outside and there's plenty to see! she guided us around some of the museum explaining a few pieces, and we were able to go on our own for 45 mins after.

We then took a short boat ride across the Nile to our lunch-spot. This was optional at £10, but totally worth it! Lunch was buffet style and had something for everyone as well as some egyptian pastry deserts - nice if you have a sweet tooth!

After lunch it was time to make our way to the pyramids. We stopped off on the way at a Papyrus museum / shop. I recommend buying your papyrus here on your holiday, they are carefully hand painted and very beautiful, the assistants were able to tell the stories behind the pictures too! The majority of other shops sell printed papyrus and aren't as nice in quality.. figures in these can look pixelated and cartoonish!

It was a short drive from here to the pyramids where we had the option to go inside the BIG pyramid or to take a pony/camel ride. We were the only two in our group to take the camels (as a horse rider myself I could see the ponies were struggling to pull three people in a cart, up-hill, in the sand, and felt a bit sorry for them). The camels were lovely and we felt safe up on them. The camel guides took pictures of us with them and of the pyramids from a point a short distance away. A really good experience!! We were then able to go into one of the smaller pyramids and to take pictures right next to a bigger one!

We also saw the Sphinx and the mummification museum. She was giving amazing stories and information at every point during our trip. She was our photogrpaher at almost every stop too! She was truly BRILLIANT!

There are people trying ot sell you things everywhere, but they aren't too pushy or rude (in english anyway!). The guide was good at helping them, and us, if anyone wanted to buy from them, especially at the pyramids - we got a solid wooden cat goddess for £2, a total bargain as gift shops sell these for 10x as much!

We then went for some tea and coffee at a perfume factory. We were able to test lots of pure flower oils and had the option to purchase after. These were really reasonable at about £30 for 4 'small' bottles of pure oil which were actually quite big! I bought some small glass bottles at the markets in Sharm and decanted the oil into them as gifts for friends! It's something really different, and the smell lasts all day on your skin! Amazing!

After this, we went back to the airport to catch our flight home at about 7pm. The day was amazing and we learnt so much about egyptian history, the lives of people in Cairo, and their traditions - The guide was incredibly proud of her heritage and it was really beautiful to hear.

Please do visit Cairo from Sharm. This trip is the best value for money of all the excursions we looked at. Our travel operator sold a similar excursion for £180 - but it didn't seem to pack as much into one day as our guide and Your Tour did!

I'd do it again, 10 times! Find out for yourself and enjoy! :)

Traveling with my son - a wheelchair user, it was vital that we were collected from the airport with no problem. Your Tour driver held up a card with our name on arrival and was very helpful - same on the return journey two weeks later. Very reliable, we will use them again.

Excursion to Cairo from Sharm (Temporarily Unavailable)

Booked this trip and went on the 29th of October 2017. Me and my partner were unsure about this trip and almost cancelled last minutes. So glad we did not do this as we went ahead and loved it. Our tour guide and met us at Cairo airport and he took us to the museum, where he had so much interesting information to tell me and my partner and also another guy who was on the tour. We then had a boat trip on the Nile to get to our lunch. We then went to the pyramids, and wow is all i can say. You cannot appreciate them till you see them yourself and we got them to ourselves as there was hardly any tourists there.... Perfect time to go! After this we were then taken to a shop that made oils made from flowers and got to smell the lotus oils and told how they made then. After this we were taken to be shown how the papyrus paper, excuse the spelling was made. We were then taken back to the airport to go back to our hotel in Sharm. We had no problems what so ever and we loved our trip. If you have a doubt, don't, go for it, the experience is amazing. A big thank you to Your Tour that made our trip comfortable and memorable. We cannot wait to book up again and see the valley of the kings next time.

Sharm Desert Horse Riding

Me and my Fiance booked this trip and it was fantastic. I was a bit wary as I am an active rider and my fiancé had never been near a horse! Omar gave us horses suitable to our experience, the horses have a lovely temperament and do exactly as he says. granted they may be a little skinny but maybe our horses are just fat?? Within 5 minutes my fiancé and Omar were best of friend and off cantering in the desert!! A great experience and Your Tour reps are brilliant, they came to our hotel and picked us up always on time. I will never book with holiday reps again when you have excellent service like this. Well done Your Tour!
